I have had a pretty crazy and awesome time the last few days. What with me turning 24 on Thursday, selling my car, buying a house, winning a prize and my personal favourite, my new BagWii!

Nintendo Wii

I’ve been asking my fiancé to buy me a Wii since it launched in South Africa, and on Thursday it was my lucky day! When I told her we could download the original Super Mario Brothers and play it on the Wii, she was ecstatic! She is a total pro at it, having played it way to much as a kid she says. (She finished it the first time she played it on Thursday…. Freak.)

House and car

About a week ago, I also went and bought my first house. It really is an amazing little place overlooking a river. ;-)

Then, for the last week or so, I have been trying to sell my car. Trading it in wasn’t really an option, as I would of seriously lost at least R10 – R15k. So instead, I went down to Vehicle Traders in Strand, and for R200, they take pics, load the car onto all the online car dealers, Auto Trader, etc. and in 4 days they had a guy that was interested in the car. So I dropped the car off at Vehicle Traders on Thursday morning, and that was the end of that! The guy test drove it, they took it for its roadworthy certificate, settled my vehicle finance and had my cash waiting there for me the next morning! I actually can’t believe how easy it was. I am currently car-less, but I signed a purchase to offer on another vehicle on Saturday. I’ll keep you in suspense as to what it is, until I get it.

It has really been a whirlwind past few days and weeks. I also launched the beginning of my wedding website – jasonandkarina.co.za yesterday. It still needs some work, but the overall design and layout is there. I can’t believe its only a few months until I’m getting married. Cold feet?! (Naah! Just kidding…)
