When I got it with Vista I thought I'd give it a whirl, and now more than a year later, I would say that XP is still better. Booting up and reboot times alone, not to mention the power management, the resource usage, the crashing of apps, the limited ability of their built in apps. etc. etc. I can't even write a disk on my Vista machine. I have to put them on my desktop machine and write from there. Ubuntu would be great if I could run my Adobe apps on there, so until then, it looks like Mac for me. Once I can afford another laptop. I fear that they try to hard to be like the other guys with fancy buttons and windows that they have forgotten about the core.
