Moved to Cape Town

Posted on 17 March 2010 in Asides | 6 comments | Tagged in

Just a quick update to let everyone know that we hav packed up our house in Somerset West and are now living in Cape Town!

We have moved to a 2 bedroom place up in High Cape, which overlooks the CBD. We still have a few boxes to unpack, still don’t have proper DStv and I’m waiting patiently for Telkom to install a telephone and ADSL. So no HD sport or ADSL. I’m getting serious withdrawal symptoms.

Once we have settled in, I’ll take a few pics of the place as well as the amazing view and post them here.

    Is the wind not quite hectic up in that area?

    @Sean – Well the wind has been blowing all around Cape Town, so its pretty much the same up there at the moment.

    @Heinrich – that is true!

    @Chris – yeah, so stoked to be in town. Went down to Mitchells at the Waterfront to watch the soccer last night. First time I’ve ever watched Chelsea play with more than 1 fan (Ok, except the time I went to Stamford Bridge)! Feels like I’ve been missing a lot by living in sleepy Somerset West. :)

    Time to catch up then!

    Shame man, well that’s all behind you and now you can enjoy a more busy and crowded life, just make sure you retreat enough!

    The minute I’m completely settled, definitely must grab a beer at an event :)

Have your say...
